If you have previous marketing experience building effective promotional strategies, we would like to meet you. Studio Flight is looking for an experienced Media Manager who will be responsible for leading and overseeing media strategy, planning, tactical execution, implementation, optimization and performance analysis. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with all media types, from traditional advertising outlets to digital channels.

Media Manager duties and responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the process of strategic media planning/execution and serving as a resource for the team

  • Determine the best media outlet mix for marketing campaign strategies and recommend tactical implementation and timing

  • Launch, monitor and optimize online and offline ad campaigns

  • Regularly report advertising campaign results (including revenues and costs)

  • Ensure a cohesive advertising message across campaigns

  • Develop budgets and flowcharts in collaboration with the Vice President, Account Service

  • Lead and direct the development of client presentations from a media perspective

  • Research and implement new techniques and technologies that are relevant to clients’ media strategies

  • Negotiate with media channels to close competitive deals

  • Secure and maintain long-term relationships with media representatives

  • Train, motivate, grow and evaluate team-members as the media team grows

Media Manager requirements and qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Media Manager, Media Planner or similar role

  • Demonstrable experience with building effective advertising campaigns

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills

  • Attention to details

  • Knowledge of different types of media channels (traditional and digital)

  • Working knowledge of analytics tools

  • Experience with budget planning and KPIs

  • Strong decision-making skills
